Nebbiolo holds a special place in my heart. It's such an inspiring wine to drink yet notoriously difficult to make, given that it needs time and a patient winemaker. The 2019 vintage was a year that had greatly reduced crop level, resulting in wonderfully powerful wines with deep concentration and complex expressions. A single tiny ferment that yielded only two barriques meant that this wine got cuddles and kisses as it was nurtured through its time in the cellar. Hand plunged daily with some post ferment hangtime before being hand pressed through our tiny manual basket press. This might just be the best Fog we've made - if you're lucky enough to get your hands on it!
