Ready to plunge into progressive winemaking? We’re looking for individuals with a couple of vintages under their belts to join us this coming season and make an impact.
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Australian driver’s and forklift licenses
- Australian citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa
- At least three vintages of experience, being familiar and comfortable in a winery setting
Why Join Us? We're not just another winery. We’re a tight-knit team where you won’t just be a cog in the machine—you’ll be hands-on in every aspect of winery operations. From grape processing to fermentation management, vineyard sampling to barrel work, and yes, even general cleaning, you’ll be involved in it all: working with a wide range of varieties, blending the best of modern and traditional techniques, and exploring different winemaking philosophies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone physically fit with previous vintage/harvest experience.
- A passion for learning and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed.
The Commitment: You’ll be working at least 5 days a week, with possible weekend shifts. But don’t worry—you’ll be supported by a passionate team with decades of experience. We believe in working hard, but we also know how to ensure we all enjoy the most exciting time in our winemaking calendar.

CELLAR DOOR

Casual - McLaren Vale [Flexible Hours]
You'll be confident working in a busy Cellar Door environment, hosting structured tastings, explaining winemaking techniques and keeping on top of duties. Most importantly, you'll help bring our Alphabet of Wine to life and give our visitors a memorable experience.
Previous experience in wine/restaurants/bars/hospitality, availability during the day on weekends and across the holidays period and current RSA is essential. Send in a CV and cover letter explaining a bit about yourself to work@alphaboxdice.com.
